Set up TulipTv

Use an M3U or M3U8 link or file, or an Xtream Codes account from a provider you are authorized to use. TulipTv does not supply channels or TV subscriptions. You can try the optional demo with licensed sample clips before adding your own source.

Add your playlist

Use the playlist form on first launch, or open Settings, then Lists and Add Playlist. Choose the tab that matches the details your provider supplied:

  • M3U URL: paste the full M3U or M3U8 playlist link into the M3U URL field, then choose Add Playlist.
  • M3U File: choose your .m3u or .m3u8 file, or drop it onto the file area, then choose Add Playlist.
  • Xtream Codes: enter the Server URL, Username and Password supplied by your provider, then choose Add Playlist. Use Xtream for your provider's Movies and Series catalogue.

Enter provider credentials only in the app. Do not post playlist links, passwords or account details in support messages or public screenshots.

TV guide and catch-up

The Guide needs schedule data for the channels in your playlist. For M3U, TulipTv can detect an EPG guide URL when the playlist provides one. If the guide is missing, open Settings, Lists, edit that playlist and fill in EPG Guide URL with your provider's XMLTV link (.xml or .xml.gz). Choose Save Changes. Xtream playlists get their guide from the provider's Xtream service.

Catch-up only works for channels and past programmes your provider has made available in an archive. A programme in the guide does not by itself mean it can be replayed. If the guide takes too long to load, check your connection and reopen it to retry.

If a stream will not open

Check your internet connection and whether the provider subscription is active. If TulipTv reports rejected Xtream credentials, open Settings, Lists and edit the playlist to check the server address, username and password. Use Retry when it is offered, or try another channel to see whether the issue affects only one stream. Your provider may also limit simultaneous streams.

For audio or subtitles, open Subtitles and audio in the player. The choices depend on tracks in the current stream; a missing language cannot be added by changing the player settings. Subtitle appearance is available in Settings.

Playlists after the Pro trial

The free version keeps playback available with one of your own playlists, plus the optional demo. Several playlists, favorites and Continue watching with resume need Pro. See the free and Pro comparison for the full distinction.
